The days of summer heat
have long escaped to the heavens above.
The shadows of fall
have elongated and stretched
into the darkest night of the year.
The animals, trees, and I are a-resting
and awaiting for the days of feasting to come.
Almost upon us, the light of the world.
This winter will bring reflections from the fall (Bird & Babe was noticeably quiet), interviews—this time with a Vancouver-based filmmaker, a Charleston-based designer, and a San-Franciscan-based succulent connoisseur—as well as contemplations for this special season that seams together an old and new year.
One noteworthy thing to share: the Gent and I made the move from San Francisco to Vancouver. Greetings from a snowy north on this first day of winter.
