Ever felt like you needed a mom (or dad)?
Needed an extra hug or an encouragement
or a listening ear?
Or simply to hear, 'That stew you cooked turned out wonderfully!'
In this day and age,
with the tech revolution underway
—and the heartbeat of it pulsing from SF and influencing all of us here or elsewhere—
how we relate to one another is becoming diseased
and commoditized;
our fears pounced on
and our love exploited for fees.
And we are a part of it,
letting it happen
unless we go against the current
and think critically about whether or not
something is lost with every 'gain' made viable.
This brief editorial begins to dig into
the philosophy of technology:
Can you tell the difference in the two videos below?
Which kind of love would you like to receive?
Which kind of love do you give?

P.S. I love Mama Hill.
