Once in a while, we'll eat bacon.We usually refrain from eating meat for health and moral reasons.  Sometimes, though, I feel grace is to be encountered in appreciating a life.  For me, this is quite different than ravaging it.  The Gent and I have eaten various animal fats and even different organs for medicinal purposes, in other words, this is not a daily or even weekly meal.  I am unsure how bacon fits into this except to say that the fat, I believe, can be medicinal in appropriate moderation from the healthiest of animals.

We'll buy our bacon from a little meat market in the Ferry Building downtown San Francisco which dons the most humanly treated animals and health-conscious ingredients possible.


And I have to say, this is the best bacon I (or the Gent) have ever tasted.
